SK-116 Starter Kit is an in-house Biological Indicator System. This starter kit includes a dry block incubator 60 degrees centigrade, record notebook, vial crusher, box of 25 Sporeview Self Contained Biological strips  and a wall poster. 

Certified for use with ALL steam sterilization cycles. This system gives clear, easy to interpret results for monitoring the effectiveness of the sterilization process. Final results are known after only 24 hours incubation in any compatible dry block incubator operating at 55-60ºC. For users convenience, SPS Medical offers a calibrated 60ºC dry block incubator that comes with 15 wells and a lifetime warranty. Shelf life for BI Strips is 2 years.

Steriking Autoclave Rolls are tested for compatibility according to AAMI Steam and Ethylene Oxide sterilization cycles. In addition compatibility is tested for Formaldehyde sterilization separately. Aging and integrity studies by well known validation laboratories confirm STERIKING®'s exceptionally long shelf life as well as usability for double pouching.

An exposure monitor that securely seals packs, and provides a visual assurance that the package has been exposed to the steam sterilization process.

As an exposure monitor, 3M™ Comply Indicator tapes securely seal packs and enables CSSD and OR personnel to know at a glance that the packs have been exposed to the sterilization process. The chemical indicator ink, printed in a diagonal striped pattern, changes color or turns darker when exposed to the sterilization process.

B-SAFE is a biological sterilizer monitoring programme. Each test consists of 2 test spore strips, 1 control spore strip, a simple questionnaire and a self-addressed envelope. The test strips are placed inside the sterilization chamber for the duration of one sterilization cycle. Once the cycle is complete, the two test strips are removed from the chamber and placed into the self-addressed envelope along with the control strip and completed questionnaire. The envelope is then mailed to our lab for a 1-7 day analysis.
